Breezaire WKL 3000 Wine Cellar Cooling Unit
Breezaire WKL 3000 Wine Cellar Cooling Unit
The Breezaire WKL 3000 is a self-contained, through-the-wall wine cellar cooling system designed for properly insulated wine cellars up to 650 cubic feet. With 3,000 BTU of cooling output, it is designed for medium-sized residential wine cellars and wine rooms where a self-contained installation is preferred.
The WKL 3000 features Sentry III+ electronic controls with an LED temperature display, allowing the cellar temperature to be monitored and adjusted. The system also provides automatic humidity control, automatic defrost, power-outage protection, and vibration-dampening operation.
Its through-the-wall design houses the cooling components within a single unit and does not require a separate remote condenser, refrigerant lines, or ductwork. The standard configuration exhausts warm air through the rear of the unit into an adjacent space, while optional factory modifications are available for alternate exhaust and power-cord configurations.
The WKL 3000 measures 19.75" H × 14.25" W × 21.63" D and weighs 76 lbs. It operates on 115V / 60Hz / 5A electrical service. Proper insulation, vapor-barrier construction, sealing, clearance, and adequate ventilation in the exhaust area are important for proper cooling performance.

Installation Requirements
Cellar Size Guidance
The WKL 3000 is specified for wine cellars up to 650 cubic feet. Actual cooling requirements depend on insulation, vapor-barrier construction, room sealing, glass exposure, ambient temperature, and other heat loads. A cellar near the maximum capacity or with significant heat exposure may require a larger cooling system.
Optional Factory Modifications
Important: Factory-modified units are special orders. Breezaire states that modified units may have longer production lead times and cannot be canceled or returned once manufactured.
Optional Bottle Probe
The optional Breezaire Bottle Probe measures the temperature of the wine inside a bottle rather than only measuring ambient cellar air. It is compatible with Breezaire WKL, WKE, and WKC series cooling units.
Warranty
The Breezaire WKL 3000 includes a 1-year labor warranty and 5-year parts warranty according to the manufacturer's listed specifications.
