The Breezaire WKL 8000 is a self-contained, through-the-wall wine cellar cooling system designed for properly insulated wine cellars up to 2,000 cubic feet. With an 8,000 BTU cooling output, it is designed for large residential wine cellars, custom wine rooms, and substantial wine storage applications where a self-contained cooling system is preferred.

The WKL 8000 uses electronic temperature controls with an LED digital readout and automatic humidity management. The system is designed to maintain cellar temperatures between 50–60°F while supporting relative humidity between approximately 50–75% under normal operating conditions. Automatic defrost helps manage frost accumulation during operation.

Its through-the-wall installation places the cooling system directly through the cellar wall and exhausts warm air through the rear of the unit. The self-contained design does not require a separate remote condenser, refrigerant line installation, or field refrigerant charging, making it a practical option when a through-the-wall configuration fits the cellar design.

The WKL 8000 measures 22" H × 16.25" W × 22.25" D, weighs 101 lbs., and operates on 115V / 60Hz / 10A electrical service. Proper insulation, vapor protection, a sealed cellar, and adequate exhaust ventilation are important for the system to operate as intended.

The optional Breezaire Bottle Probe can monitor the temperature of the wine inside a bottle rather than measuring only the surrounding air. Breezaire identifies the Bottle Probe as compatible with WKL, WKE, and WKC series cooling systems.
